Liverpool boss Arne Slot buried Reds legend Jamie Carragher during an appearance on Sky Sports after sealing a Premier League win over Brentford.

Carragher was discussing Liverpool's performance as Slot walked over to speak in front of the cameras, at which point anchor Kelly Cates remarked to the retired defender: "I'm not even listening to you, Arne Slot's here."
Slot fired straight in with: "Does anyone ever listen to him?" as Carragher fell about laughing and accurately predicted the subsequent social media response.

It was a competitive home debut for Slot as he continues to find his way after replacing Jurgen Klopp in the Liverpool hot seat. But it's been a fine start so far, collecting consecutive wins over Ipswich and Brentford, scoring four goals and conceding none.

Liverpool and Slot will be looking for that third-straight clean sheet when they travel east down the M62 to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday. The Red Devils were beaten by Brighton in stoppage time in their last outing.
