David Beckham visited the Inter Miami squad in Hong Kong and hugged Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez after training.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Inter Miami co-owner is currently in Hong Kong as his team are preparing to face a selected Hong Kong XI, a team that will consist of the best players from Hong Kong's top division, on Sunday. A day before the historic match, Beckham shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen hugging all the club players including Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi after their training session.

    He wrote on Instagram, "Amazing… a sold-out stadium for our pre-season training session in Hong Kong. Thank you for all your incredible support and love, see you all tomorrow."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    For the first time in the Herons' brief history, the club have conducted their pre-season in Asia. Before heading to Hong Kong, they had played against Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and lost 4-3 and 6-0 respectively.
