The Manchester United loanee was dismissed in second-half stoppage time for his challenge on Getafe's Juan Iglesias but Betis held on for a 2-1 La Liga win on Sunday. Now, Marca claims the Spanish outfit will appeal this decision in a bid to have him free to face Madrid at the weekend. Betis have analysed the footage and feel Antony "barely touched" Iglesias and did not deserve a straight red card.

The Brazilian has three goals and two assists in just six appearances in all competitions for Los Verdiblancos. The ex-Ajax man is being lauded at Betis, which starkly contrasts his time at United.
