Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that the forward is set to join the ranks of the Italian club, just one year after signing with the Western Conference expansion side. He scored 10 goals in 37 appearances for St. Louis CITY SC in 2023. The 23-year-old has eight caps with the national team, where he's net three goals.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The CITY youngster will now join fellow USMNT players Gianluca Busio and Tanner Tessman in Serie B, where they both craft their trade for Venezia FC. In total, he will be the seventh USA-capped player in Italy, with the European country becoming a hot bed for Americans at the moment.
Como have added Gioacchini in an attempt to bolster their hopes for automatic promotion in 2024. They sit second in Serie B with 39 points, six behind league-leaders Parma and one point clear of third-place Cremonese.
